Candidates applying for JHTET 2026 must fulfill educational qualifications for Primary Level and Junior Level teaching eligibility.
Primary Level Class 1-5 Eligibility
Candidates applying for Primary Level teaching posts in JHTET 2026 must meet Diploma or Elementary Education qualification requirements.
Candidates should fulfill any one of the following conditions:
10+2 with minimum 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
10+2 with 45% marks and a Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE rules.
10+2 with 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
10+2 with 50% marks and a Diploma in Special Education.
Bachelor's Degree with a pass/appearing in Diploma in Elementary Education.
