SBI released the detailed advertisement for Probationary Officers on 18 June 2026 (Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09). The English and Hindi PDFs are available on the SBI Careers "Current Openings" page. Online registration ran from 18 June to 8 July 2026 and is now closed.

Important updates after the notification

Corrigendum (01.07.2026): SBI removed the CIBIL (credit history) clause from the advertisement. Candidates who had already registered did not need to register again.
Prelims result: declared at the end of August 2026.
Mains Information Handout: published for the Main Exam on 12.09.2026.
Mains result: declared in mid-October 2026.
Phase III notice: psychometric test on 31.10.2026; group exercise and interviews from 18.11.2026 (tentative).
