Status on 4 November 2026: CSBC has not released a new general Constable (Sipahi) notification for 2026. The latest completed cycle is Advt No. 01/2025 (19,838 posts), whose final result came out on 27 May 2026. The figures below are from that cycle.

Latest general Constable notification: Advt 01/2025

CSBC released Advertisement No. 01/2025 on 11 March 2025 for 19,838 Constable posts in Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police. Of these, 6,717 posts were reserved for women. More than 17 lakh candidates registered.

These are separate recruitments with their own eligibility (for example, Constable Operator needs Class 12 in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). They are not the general Constable exam.
