How to Apply for UP Police SI

Applications are made online through the UPPRPB recruitment portal (apply.upprpb.in / upprpb.in), linked from the official website uppbpb.gov.in. For the 2025 cycle the window was 12 August to 11 September 2025. That window is closed, and no new SI Civil Police application window is open as of 4 November 2026.

Steps to apply (2025 process)

1. Visit uppbpb.gov.in and open the link to the recruitment portal.
2. Complete One Time Registration (OTR). OTR is now compulsory for all UPPRPB recruitments, and your basic details are saved for future forms.
3. Log in with your OTR details and open the SI 2025 application form.
4. Fill in personal, educational and category details. A live photo is taken during the application, and Aadhaar-based KYC is used.
5. Upload your photograph and signature.
6. Pay the application fee online.
7. Submit the form and print the confirmation page.

Documents to keep ready

• Graduation degree or marksheets (candidates still awaiting final results were not eligible in 2025)
• Class 10 certificate for date of birth
• Caste certificate for OBC/SC/ST, and EWS certificate. In 2025, OBC and EWS certificates had to be issued between 1 April 2025 and 11 September 2025.
• Aadhaar card, active mobile number and email ID
• Recent photograph and signature in the size given on the portal
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) if you are a government employee

About 15,75,760 candidates applied in the 2025 cycle, including forms completed by 15 September 2025.
