Court case (latest)

On 1 October 2026, news agencies reported that a single-judge bench of the Allahabad High Court (Justice Anees Kumar Gupta) stayed the issue of appointment letters for the 4,543 posts. The petitioners say some exam questions were changed and that the board did not properly consider their objections. The next hearing was listed for 5 October 2026. We could not find a report on what happened after that hearing, so check uppbpb.gov.in for the current status.
