RRB ALP: How to Apply Online

Status: The application window for CEN 01/2026 closed on 14 June 2026 and the modification window closed on 26 June 2026. You cannot apply now. Use the steps below for the next ALP notification.

Official application portal: https://www.rrbapply.gov.in (one common portal for all RRBs). Apply to only one RRB; multiple applications lead to rejection.

Steps

1. Go to rrbapply.gov.in and create an account with your mobile number and email ID.
2. Make sure your name and date of birth in Aadhaar match your 10th certificate exactly. Aadhaar should have your latest photo and biometrics, because Aadhaar-based verification is used at exam and DV.
3. Log in, choose the RRB, fill personal, educational (ITI trade / Diploma / Degree) and category details.
4. Capture or upload your live photo and signature and the required certificates (SC/ST, OBC-NCL, EWS etc., if claiming).
5. Pay the fee online and submit. Download and keep the final copy.
6. Use the modification window only if needed – each change costs ₹250 (non-refundable).

Application fee (CEN 01/2026)

Refunds are paid only to an Aadhaar-seeded bank account and only if you actually appear in CBT-1. The fee of rejected applications is not refunded.

Documents to keep ready

• 10th (Matriculation) certificate for date of birth
• ITI / Course Completed Act Apprentice certificate, or Diploma/Degree certificate
• Caste certificate (SC/ST), OBC-NCL certificate, EWS certificate – in the formats given in the CEN annexures
• Aadhaar, a valid photo ID and an active mobile number and email
• Ex-Servicemen discharge papers, if applicable
