Indian citizens, and other categories allowed under the CEN rules, can apply.

Course Completed Act Apprentices	By the period of apprentice training

Relaxations are not added together; you get the highest one that applies.

Matriculation/SSLC plus one of the following:

ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in: Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio & TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Mechanic; or Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in these trades.
Or a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Automobile Engineering (or a combination of these), in place of ITI.
A Degree in these engineering branches is accepted in place of the Diploma.

Distant vision 6/6 in each eye without glasses (fogging test – must not accept +2D); near vision Sn 0.6 each eye without glasses.
Must pass colour vision, binocular vision, field of vision, night vision and mesopic vision tests.
Candidates who have had LASIK or any refractive surgery are not eligible.
The post is not suitable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
