Delhi Police Constable: Overview

The Constable (Executive) Male and Female in Delhi Police Examination is a recruitment exam for the post of Constable in Delhi Police. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) holds the computer-based exam, and Delhi Police holds the physical test, document verification and medical exam. It is a Group C post, open to candidates who have passed Class 12.

Selection stages

  1. Computer Based Examination (CBE) by SSC
  2. Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) by Delhi Police (qualifying only)
  3. Document Verification (DV)
  4. Medical examination

The final merit list is based on CBE marks, as long as you pass the PE&MT and the other stages.

Current status (as of 4 November 2026)

No new notification has been released for 2026, and this exam is not listed in the SSC calendar for 2026-27. The 2025 cycle is at its last stages: PE&MT began on 19 August 2026, and the remaining candidates were rescheduled to 18 to 26 September 2026 after bad weather.
