SSC CPO 2026: Overview
SSC CPO is the popular name of the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) Examination. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) holds it every year. It is one of the main routes for graduates to join the police as a Sub-Inspector (SI), a supervisory rank above Constable and Head Constable.

Applications for 2026 are closed. Paper-I is scheduled from 23 to 28 November 2026. The earlier 2025 cycle is still running: its PET/PST result came out on 29 October 2026, and 10,676 candidates qualified for Paper-II, which is tentatively on 28 November 2026.
